The outdoor pool at Seven Lakes, a landscaped restaurant and hotel complex, offers an escape just outside the city – whether for a few hours or an entire day, it’s a place to immerse yourself in pure relaxation. Seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape, the pool feels like a resort peninsula, with surrounding lakes shielding guests from worries, deadlines, and daily routines.
The pool area serves multiple purposes: you can lounge in and around the water, enjoy a meal, entertain children, or simply restore your balance through close contact with nature.
In this project, YOD Group adhered to the organic minimalism principles, characterized by a restrained use of materials, natural tones and textures, and a profound respect for nature. Marble pool basins are paired with thermowood podiums and concrete changing-room facades. Each material was chosen for its inherent beauty, requiring no additional finishes.
A decades-old pine tree rises through the middle of the terrace. To preserve it, the designers built an opening in the podium and carefully coordinated construction around the trunk.
CONCEPT
Sun loungers are arranged in an amphitheater-like layout, with groups set on raised podiums at varying distances from the water. This zoning creates privacy without visually dividing the space and ensures that every guest enjoys an unobstructed view of the landscape. Rows of loungers and terracotta umbrellas form an orderly oasis – harmonious with the natural setting yet enhanced with comfort.
The bar area is seamlessly integrated into a nine-meter-high pergola, preserving the lightness and openness of the space. Inside, there’s a contact bar, an open kitchen, and a full restaurant seating area. This is not just a typical pool bar, but a complete restaurant with an extensive menu – perfect for guests who spend the whole day at Seven Lakes and want more than just a snack.
In the evenings, one of the pool’s most striking features comes to life: fire bowls built directly into the water. The glow of open flames against the reflective surface creates a dramatic play of elements – and an unforgettable backdrop for photos.
